I've moved to OpenSuse Gnome3 since Ubuntu was starting to give me hassle with my hardware. I second Gnome3 I really like it aswell.

I may actually consider using Ubuntu again, provided the upcoming LTS retains the gnome-shell (Unity free) default...

Just my 2p after giving Unity and Ubuntu such a slagging over the last 18 months.
