I use my accounting system in a browser (php) and only use the keyboard 
TAB to move arrows to select up / down 
SpaceBar to accecpt or Enter
Alt LeftArrow to go back a page and for a new Entry

Once the first page has loaded the Mouse is left until all the
Accounting is done.
