When I look at external hard drives on the internet they all seem to say 'preformatted for PC's' or 'Windows and Mac ready'. No mention of Linux, of course. So, will they mostly work on Linux? Will they be formatted in something other that EXT3 or 4? And, if so, can they easily be reformatted? I have Googled on this but find conflicting information.
