Investigating a network issue (unreliable access - suddenly) to a postgres database behind a DNAT connection. Noted that "traceoute dnatbox" intermittently doesn't return the last one or two packets. So get.. 1 2 3 4 ... 9 Host 34ms * * or 9 Host 35ms 45ms * As if there is some sort of rate limiting on ICMP Traceroute -t doesn't have this issue.
