Don't know it, I use the command line tool, ssh-keygen, which walks you through the process.

Long and memorable rather than highly-randomized. A good mix is two words, a multi-digit number and a short string of punctuation characters, arranged to taste.
And is it easy to change said pass phrase if I decide to?
