What did they claim the 'correct' answer was? It's not A, because it's a STAR not a Token Ring, or any kind of ring. It's not D because that makes no sense.It *could* be B if they're being extremely pedantic and what they mean is the following:
PRN--PC----LAN----PC--PRN PRN- -PC----LAN----PC--PRNwith B *meaning* 'Only that workstation loses its' ability to communicate [with the device it was connected to]'
If they do mean B it's either a) very sloppy wording, or b) a trick question.
