[LUG] Installing ubuntu

Hi Lug
I now trying to install ubuntu on an Acer with a nvidia graphics card.  All goes well untill I boot from hard drive.  I have tried nopaic and nolapic paramathigies, but no joy. I do not even have a keyboard when I ty to boot in recovery mode Are there any other options I could try?
I look forward to the day when I can answer a linux question, but I fear that may be decades away.  In the mean time please make it work.
