Huh? It "just works" ... I've maintained several NFS (and NIS) 
installations - one with over 300 client PCs + Servers. (And another with 
280 nodes, but they were solaris boxes, so don't count here!)

There is that, but in days gone by, I remember using NFS under Win 3.1.. 
Why did all that technology seem to "vanish" over the years..
