Great !, Thanks every one for the tips & links.

I've downloaded the Asterisk TFOT pdf and I'm working my way through it.

This will handle incoming UK caller ID. They work very well - I've
installed several and this is what I use myself.

Thinking about this: I have a reseller account with voipon so get a few quid off the list price - if 2 or 3 people want one, let me know and I'll order some up and sell them onto you a bit cheaper...

These cards can take 4 modules - and there are 2 types of modules. FXO and FXS - one connects to a BT wall socket, the other connects to a standard analogue phone - which might be an alternative to using an ATA to connect up exiting home phones - eg. DECT phones, etc. I have a refurbished BT 746 connected to one at home.. (a rotary dial phone in red. Keeps wifey happy, sitting next to the lava lamp in the 70's corner of the livingroom :)

Cheers,
