I have downloaded edubuntu server and server addon cdroms, and ran md5sum on each, doing cat MD5SUMS, I get a list of files and associated checksums however there seems to be differences. as in psutton@duron1600:~/linuxiso$ cat MD5SUMS 2ff9924f75366a75e370ea5c4c9ce2e5 *edubuntu-7.04-desktop-amd64.iso 1dacaf1f8cf9ddb8a3fecaa0b0910d99 *edubuntu-7.04-desktop-i386.iso 804202ebd5e2f59a1f2059dd8d3f0688 *edubuntu-7.04-server-amd64.iso c9105528c35f282e173cfac6c4b8d563 *edubuntu-7.04-server-i386.iso 60f086d583902939e4b881696221aa68 *edubuntu-7.04-serveraddon-amd64.iso ddc62e32e6047984fffad2e86dfcec38 *edubuntu-7.04-serveraddon-i386.iso psutton@duron1600:~/linuxiso$ md5sum edubuntu-7.10-serveraddon-i386.iso 7ea5785a4f0ea80d1dc1b1a262b77968 edubuntu-7.10-serveraddon-i386.iso psutton@duron1600:~/linuxiso$ md5sum edubuntu-7.10-server-i386.iso bd78453e7057d130f46e233c24c02707 edubuntu-7.10-server-i386.iso have i done anything wrong, here, I am in the process of downloading edubuntu-desktop, and hope that this one works better, what do other people get from running md5sum on the iso files. ?
