Simple example, if I am out with my parents, their car gives the
temperature in Celsius so I convert it to old money (Fahrenheit) for
them in my head

temp + (temp * 8/10) + 32

You should get with the times. :P

0 = freezing;
10 = cold;
20 = warm;
30 = hot;
37 = body temp;
100 = boiling.

I do the same thing with mph to convert to km/h (multiply by three and then halve it), though.. it's easier than multiplying by 1/0.65.
