That might be very useful! I'm just starting to look in to meeting places and the like, trying to get somewhere with broadband but obviously this being the first time I've tried to do anything like this I'm starting from scratch!

I was looking for somewhere in Truro initially as it's faily central to the whole of Cornwall? At least in my point of view - I do have quite a Truro centric view on things living in St.Agnes! Well, I've got in touch with the college there and asked about possibly using their facilities - just waiting for the IT department to get back to me.

I quite like the sound of building a comp and installing a distro etc so I'll be sure to give you due warning! Anyway, hopefully in a week or two we'll have things sorted! Any further ideas/recomendations would be great!

It's nice to hear so much enthusiasm from everyone, I think this has gone better than I'd expected!

I live in Lostwithiel and would be happy to offer lifts to both
Martinus and Gareth. I am also happy to offer a meeting place and
broadband in Lostwithiel. If you give me due warning I am also happy
to obtain bits and pieces and we could build a computer from scratch
and install a Linux distro. I am happy to meet anytime! (Except of
course Sundays they're not good, Monday evening are out and so are
Thursday evenings, come to think of Fridays aren't that good,
Saturdays are the family day and Tuesday and Wednesday I have meetings
in the evening - anytime other than those days!)
