Re: [LUG] Cornish interest

I was wondering about maybe doing something about 'Linux from scratch'...I've been meaning to try it out for a few months now and just reading through this months Linux Format and saw it mentioned in there too!

Well, whatever, I'm convinced there's plenty of interest around so I'll get on with sorting a venue out - possibly Truro (it's quite central really)?

Oh, and just because I'm feeling pretty great right now, just installed debian on my laptop and got my pcmcia wireless card working! it was really easy too with module assistant (and the fact that my card has native drivers); I'll be sure to post a how-to somewhere though as it took me hours of googling to find out this simple procedure!
