In Sweeden 24Mbit ADSL is available, but ethernet lan is available in many metro areas -- 100mbit for £25 a month. In fact in some places you can get a 1GBit connection! Of course 100mbit downstream is all very well and good, but when you're stuck with 256 upstream it's annoying. -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG http://mailman.dclug.org.uk/listinfo/list FAQ: http://www.dcglug.org.uk/linux_adm/list-faq.html
