I don't know what kind of experience people who want to get involved have and these things should probably discussed on separate threads. I've only just moved down and am still up in the air at the moment but I can intermittently give advice. As I said in an earlier mail I would write either as web applications using Mono/ASP.NET and probably mysql as a db ( though written generically so people can use any Relational DB easily). The application can then run over the web or be run on the local machine using a web browser to talk to your own server. If your still with me on this one then I might put up a few ideas on a web site? Tom * I tried to help on a wildlife dbase but none could fix what data was required. anyone know of floss GIS? -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG http://mailman.dclug.org.uk/listinfo/list FAQ: http://www.dcglug.org.uk/linux_adm/list-faq.html
