Hi I a attack of stupidity I purchased a "proper" installation for my Big computer. My problem is I am unable to get it to update, and get the message "I cant find a suitable mirror, There can be many reasons for this the most frequent is the case where the architecture of your processor is not supported by Mandrake Linux Official Updates." I run a pair of GenuineIntel Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.06 GHz Neither Windows or Fedora has had any problem with these and indeed Mandrake recognises them loading the kernel 2.6.8.1-12 mck smp (so it understands smp) Anyone any ideas please!
