i did a quick google search for kernel internals, and found the above
book, online here is the link

hope this helps

Incidently I live in Paignton and will be in Ivybridge tomorrow, at the
u7/u8 rugby festival (ivybridge RFC), The coaches should all be wearing
paignton coaching tops, so if you live in that area, and want to perhaps
drop in I will take my hard copy with me. you are welcome to borrow it,

Can't find any books on the 2.6 kernel yet.

hope this helps

Thanks for the offer but its most unlikely that i will find my self in
Ivybridge tomorrow, i'm way down west.

I think that getting a good book on kernel programming might be an idea, but i
think the general problem remains that programmers are the worst people to
write documentation ( i'm at fault my self), that link you posted made the
comments "Tasklets, (to appear in next issue)" or somthing very like that.

Hi Guys,

Anybody know much about kernel programming and in particular tasklets, i
just
cannot get them to behave (or work at all really). I am scheduling a
tasklet
from an interrupt context (proper hardware IRQ call) but i never see the
tasklet fire. The tasklet is initalised in the module loading routines. I
have clearly missed somthing simple but i cant find any documentation on
tasklets or even many examples.

Thanks,
