I sniffed around last time this was discussed, but I didn't
install.

Basically it is Visual Age rebranded from what I could figure
out.

VA was rated better than Borland or MSVC at one point, but must
have been marketed by people left over from the OS/2 marketing
team ;) 

No idea how it looks these days.

I sniffed, I thought interesting, and I went away, so I must
have not liked something YMMV

The mistake is all this C programming, a good proprietary
(oxymoron?) integrated GUI designer and development environment
exist, for as long as you write in Java ;-)

I should relearn EMACS, you probably should as well.
