Seems a bit vague (on soapbox - actually no it is very vague and pretty
poor programming. Surely error checking can be better than this - i.e. *what*
doesn't exist? Something that simple would help a lot! - off soapbox).

Is install being run on its own or via a make file? If the latter then
perhaps 'make -n' will show what is going on. As the message implies, the
program is not finding something - as to what will depend on what it is
doing. Perhaps the -d option should have been used with install?
