Re: [LUG] Pub

Well if you make it a Friday night I'll probably drive down (For those that
don't already know, I'm from and currently living in Exeter and used to be
at Plymouth Uni). Saturday nights rock night in Exeter, so I try to avoid
having to avoid that! :-)

On another note, I'm currently looking at getting a new PC
(chas/jon/aaron/rob can testify to how old it is), and while reading through
the recent lug-list e-mails I had a thought. Needless to say I'll be putting
Redhat on the new box, and needless to say I'd like to be able to get a
better resolution in X than 800 x 600. So what I'm after are recommendations
as to good graphics cards which will be detected/setup easily, or those
which should not be touched with a barge poll if I want an easy life. To
give you an idea, I'm looking at getting a 16MB card, and thought of the
Voodoo3 3000, opinions?

Keith
