Re: [LUG] Laptops anyone?

cheers for the reply, i don't have any pc cards so it can't be that
the hibernation file must exist as it suspends properly from windows and i
noticed a fairly large drop in disk space after i installed IBM's T'Pad
software
I have also heard about problems with the floppy drive but my problem exists
at all times, i have never been able to successfully resume after entering
suspend or hibernation.
if i shut the lid the whole pc freezes
How do i check the kernel version, i am using Mandrake 7.2 which i
understood had the latest kernel
