If you choose php 8.4 does it take you to 8.4.27 ?
That is the fixed version for the 8.4 train.

Thanks, I think i have my domain via portfast, so I think i can get to dns from there, however I have-e no idea how to do what you suggested, sorry. l I am just stuck.
I have emailed Grant S who helped set this up, that is all i can do.
All this is just very very stressful

They appear to have gone out of their way to make themselves as difficult to contact as possible. Even the FAQ has very few actual answers. That would set alarm bells ringing for me.
Are you able to access the DNS? If so, I would suggest putting everything behind CloudFlare, who are blocking malicious requests.

Hi
As I said Grant S set this up and I can't get hold of him, looks like the hosting company is oceanus or I https://oceanus.hostns.io.
I think the website is here
https://my.oceanichost.com/order/forms/
I can't figure out how to contact them,

I would urge them to do this ASAP, and in the meantime you should back all your stuff up. This is literally the biggest vulnerability in the history of PHP

Thanks,
In my control panel I can choose between versions with a point
release so for this 8.4, 8.5. So not 8.5.11, 8.5.12
It looks like they have updated something as I said it is 8.5.11
currently, so I can wait a little longer.
I am not sure what the correct terminology is for everything. e.g
8.5.11 and 8.5.12
I will check what version they are running again tomorrow and see if
it has changed.
Thanks,
Paul

No, 8.5.12 is the patched version (but yes, that's the correct way
to check).
Check in your hosting panel if that version is available, and if
it isn't get on to your hosting provider ASAP

Given the current issue with php, I logged in to my hosting

If I goto terminal

So according to that I am running 8.5.11, am I correct in
thinking that
a) this is the correct way to check?
b) 8.5.11 is the updated patched version
c) it is safe to take my site (at least) out of maintenance mode?
I recently updated my site to Grav2 which requires the server to
be running 8.3 or above
Thanks,
