[LUG]Re: Website php version

I had an old version of a wordpress site running on a Raspberry Pi 4. Thankfully it had both a SD card and an SSD as well on an Argon case.

I got GLM 5.3 Flash to upgrade it to Trixie with PHP 8.4. It seems to have handled the upgrade very well – identified all services, took a backup of the running config, booted to a temporary image on the SD card, flashed the SSD with Trixie, restored all services, including bind/named, DLNA server, MariaDB, Wordpress (including content), mounting NAS share for DLNA server, let’s encrypt certificate updater script, IPv4 and IPv6 network configuration. Even got it to fix my local reverse DNS lookup zones. And it restored some non-wordpress microsites I had running on there. It even identified and restored some old Netflow nfsen services I had completely forgotten about, and configured my router to export Netflow records to it again.

Presumably this will at least give you maintained updates for longer, and it won't go out of support as quickly. I would, but that's me. I like updates.
