[LUG] 'Bad UNC', ref CIFS mounts

Hi All,

WTH does 'bad UNC' mean? I've googled and tried the suggestions, none of which worked, so I thought it best to ask here :)

fstab entries that don't work:

# 192.168.1.3:/volume1/DEMETER /media/julian/DEMETER  nfs rw,hard,intr,rsize=8192,wsize=8192,timeo=14 0   0 # 192.168.1.3:/volume1/DEMETER    /media/julian/DEMETER   nfs _netdev,user,noauto,x-systemd.automount,x-systemd.mount-timeout=10,timeo=14,x-systemd.idle-timeout=1min 0 0 #//192.168.1.3/DEMETER    /media/julian/DEMETER   cifs guest,uid=1000,iocharset=utf8  0  0

Current fstab entry, not working either:

192.168.1.3/DEMETER /media/julian/DEMETER cifs credentials=/home/julian/.smbcredentials,iocharset=utf8,uid=1000,gid=1000,file_mode=0777,dir_mode=0777,user,noauto 0 0

Should the / be \ or the mount point?

Kind regards,

Julian
