I used WPEngine for some WordPress sites in the past, they would likely be more expensive, they aren't perfect, but they were pretty good. Likely to appeal if you really want just WordPress, and you are happy with their CDN option, and appreciate say the nightly backups, checkpoint backups, and staging service. You'll probably still want the odd out of WPEngine backup in case things go badly wrong. As a specialist WordPress host their support immediately grok even pretty obscure WordPress issues. We also put them through some security testing, found obscure XSS in one of the bits they add to everyone's admin panel, which they handled well. The only gotcha was they didn't do email sensibly, so you needed a sending account for password reset et al, in our case we just set up suitable accounts at Google Mail, if the company didn't have one. -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG https://mailman.dclug.org.uk/listinfo/list FAQ: http://www.dcglug.org.uk/listfaq
