One thing I particularly like about fish is that working with floating

Just wondering,

I'm wondering (and maybe I'm the only one wondering) why you're dealing
with floating point numbers in shell scripting scripts...

There must be better and easier ways to do whatever you're trying to
do... Even in BASIC...

What are you trying to do?

Gordon

These are only small personal scripts, time savers really. They do include floating point arithmetic sometimes. And I have always thought that this missing in bash was a bit odd. There are other ways to do my calculations, of course. I use the grpn package if I just want a quick answer.
