Dear folk, stupidly I cancelled a half written linux with uNetbootin to

Is there a way to recover a usable USB Key from 'read-only' status to
read-write status?
Any help appreciated.

sudo hdparm -r0 /dev/sdb or wherever the usb is
unplug usb and plug in again..

another technique is to
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sdb bs=1M
unplug usb and plug in again..

make sure you have the right usb or else!!!!!
usual at your own risk stuff
