This isn't because of nginx or Apache per se - its because nginx setups
are orientated towards FPM. I use FPM with Apache as the built-in module
is slower and a lot less flexible.
I use Varnish as its also good at caching. I would imagine its a lot
more involving then nginx to setup though.
