I'm interested in anyones experience of transitioning from dedicated Servers to Linux Virtual Servers what Load Balance either at the switch or Application level?

I really like the security on the CentOS platform and have enjoyed reading your posts recently on SSH and root accounts especially when using Cpanel access.Â

I'm keen to know which are good host providers for Load Balance LVS or do people engineer there own if so what with, switch Virtual IP's or clustered application databases ?Â

Also would like to build a Nagios dashboard monitor system to display usage in order to alert for new provisioning. Whats peoples approach to how much load to put on each Apache instance ?
