Rubbish. They had the preinstallation-created monopoly (with per-item
licensing!) that IBM manager twat handed them in 1981. Nobody ever
chose MS. Nobody even knew they had become an MS customer to start
with; they thought they were IBM customers (or Compaq, or what have
you). Still true today; most people simply do not understand the
legal-commercial reality of the "deal" they have "agreed" when they
