I really fail to understand why this is surprising you (& others)UCE won't go away. A recent trial of a well known UK based spammer failed to prosecute them. The spammers have won.
They have your name, postal address, email address and other personal details about you. In a lot of cases they have your age too. (Because you all tell facebook, etc. your birthday so they can send you a card...)
They will send you spam.They will always be one step in-front of the anti-spammers (well, most of them). The only way to combat this is to use various heuristics, algorithms, etc. These don't always work.
So stop whinging about spam and deal with it - either pay someone or develop your own solution. (and using e.g. Google is paying for it by accepting their advertising policys, etc.) Spam/UCE will not go away.
