Hello Neil,

stupid enough to open up that attachment would any nasty program
fail to run because we don't use Windows?
It's almost a certainty that the payload will only run in a Windows
environment.

That is what I thought. So what would happen, it would just sit there
and do nothing, or an error message perhaps? Not that it matters, I
have no plans to do anything with such rubbish except trash it.

Thanks

Neil

If you have Wine installed, you may get your .wine directory infected however it's very unlikely that this will infect your normal operations. Depending on the nature of the attack, your executables in the .wine directory may get infected but otherwise you probably wouldn't notice a problem.
