[LUG] Broadcom Drivers

Hi List,

A bit of a long shot here but...

I'm trying to install some wireless drivers for this relatively new laptop since it's come with a Broadcom chip in Ubuntu 13.10 (64 bit)

Here's the relevant part of my lspci:

daniel@KatieVI:~$ lspci | grep Broad
02:00.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM43142 802.11b/g/n (rev 01)

I found a dpkg package (here: http://askubuntu.com/questions/227394/lost-wi-fi-after-ubuntu-12-10-precise-pangolin-upgrade) with the drivers and have installed build-essential and my headers, however the make is failing because of this:

/build/src/wl/sys/wl_linux.c:50:24: fatal error: asm/system.h: No such file or directory
 #include <asm/system.h>

I found a similar post on the Ubuntu mailing list with no answers: http://ubuntu.5.x6.nabble.com/Compiling-driver-fails-missing-system-headers-td5026681.html
