No answer to your problem, but a few things that may help you isolate the problem:

- are you sure it is the computer that drops the connection, and not the router?

- if the computer is connnected using a wireless connection, does the connection also dropped when connected through a wire?

- do the error logs on the computer (that'd be the event viewer - run 'eventvwr' to open it) or the router say anything?

- what does ipconfig say when the connection has been dropped?
