Description: | My client is looking for a software support operative to join their growing team. You will be supporting both internal and external customers on software issues and assisting with the production of updates. Part of your time will be receiving and logging queries, software diagnosing and hardware fault finding and solving issues as quickly and as professionally as possible. You will be undertaking software support matters, using in-house service desk system as well investigating software issues whilst offering high levels of customer support to end users, keeping them updating with progress of issues and fixing these. Ideal Candidate - Computing qualifications - Good knowledge of Linux / UNIC and SQL - General understanding of principles to include databases, system lifecycle, file systems and networking - Medical or NHS system experience would be highly advantageous but not essential - Excellent communication skills, able to work on own initiative but equally well as part of a team - Previous experience in a support / helpdesk role Initial salary on offer is £15k, but with increments, will increase to up to £18k in future, overtime available which is paid at a premium please a bonus schemes paid twice yearly and health insurance as well as great career progression opportunities and the chance to work with a forward thinking organisation.
