Re: [LUG] MySQL Command Line client "edit"

You could always use mysql in interactive mode.
I test all my queries there before going 'live' with them.

Subject: [LUG] MySQL Command Line client "edit"

Can mysql command line tool be made to echo the command saved?

Rather un-intuitively it seems to run the command when you hit enter after
quitting the editor.

Also are there any tools people recommend for database development work on a
Debian Desktop. Could have done with a good Query editor yesterday as I
spent way too long debugging a typo in a JOIN condition.
