Hi All, 

Ooer. Not had that problem before.
When using 
lshw, I direct its output to a file,
then the file can be 
read with Gedit or whatever your favourite file editor is.

Thus:-
sudo lshw > filename
Its also useful for saving a 
new version of filename after each modification, 
yesterday 
I upped the RAM on my old (2000) Dell to 750MB, it worked a 
treat, 
saving versions of the file before and after the 
mod.
