Just wanted to say how much I love gnome3.I finally caved-in and installed Ubuntu 11.10 as they'd relented from the ridiculous 'Unity' debacle to allow people to have gnome-shell as an option, natively installed and Unity free.
Really loving it and the one-click extensions are pretty good fun too!I may actually consider using Ubuntu again, provided the upcoming LTS retains the gnome-shell (Unity free) default...
Just my 2p after giving Unity and Ubuntu such a slagging over the last 18 months.
