This is a result of change tracking being switched on by your tutor.

Look under menu Edit>Changes in LibreOffice.

You will need to accept or reject the changes made by your tutor (under
the same menu entry)

You can then either switch off change tracking for your own edits, or
leave it on and then accept or reject (?) your own changes after making
them.

Look under "changes" in the LibreOffice help system for more details.
