"Canonical and Dell are teaming up to sell computers with Ubuntu

the mainstream visibility of the Linux-based operating system, will
span 220 retail locations.

According to a statement that Canonical posted this morning on its
official blog, the products will be set up with marketing materials
that tout the virtues of the Ubuntu platform. Retail

China must be a huge market potential for Canonical......So the best

I get the impression there are a lot of people on this list and similar
lists that wish staff would get similar training here.

Anyway sounds good to me, if it gets OSS out there to the masses, I am
surprised that Russia doesn't do something similar given Putins desire
to get Free software and Linux widely used in Russian schools and elsewhere.

I think the tide is starting to turn.
