Trying to find clear documentation on GRE and iptables. Currently NAT is performed using: -A POSTROUTING -s 10.x.y.0/24 -j SNAT --to-source 78.a.b.c Would one expect this rule to handle GRE packets? Wish to include GRE so that L2TP clients can connect to remote RRAS server. Sure I can muddle through, but seems to me it should be documented better than it is, but maybe I missed the relevant document. At least I'd prefer to understand why it isn't "just working". I have a recent stock Debian kernel so stock connection tracking including pptp/gre kernel modules. User reports it use to work, but I'm sceptical, only thing to change lenny -> squeeze. -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG http://mailman.dclug.org.uk/listinfo/list FAQ: http://www.dcglug.org.uk/listfaq
