looks like it is actually based on suse as its built with SuSe Studio.
IIRC this is RPM based and using YaST for management of software etc
Google Chrome OS is a Gentoo derived distro using Portage

You can't install it on general purpose hardware, you can only install
Chromium OS, which lacks the auto-updating, and what I regard as the
other key selling points of Chromium OS.

Don't know what you have there, but it doesn't sound like Google's
Chrome OS.
