Hi all. Can anyone tell me how I can access the fstab file in the CLI and write to it in recovery mode? Currently, Ubuntu 11 won't start since I tried to permanently add the Windows OS folders by adding the UUID to the fstab file. Using the CLI in recovery mode, I can access the fstab file but only as read only, so I can't remove this mount addition, even though I'm accessing it as root.
I also have an fstab.save and an fstab.save.1 file. They also have this additional mount instruction. Are these other 2 fstab files needed? Any help or advice gratefully received. Thanks. Jack. |
