Hi Just tried out ubuntu 11.04 at the lighthouse and it seems (confirmed by popey on #ubuntu-uk) that while the default UI is unity, older hardware that can't handle it causes ubuntu to auto default to gnome. either way it looks pretty good, 11.04 comes with shotwell photo manager and libreoffice.
