Hijust installed ubuntu 9.04 on a pc at the lighthouse, it seemed to go fine, formatted drives etc, however when trying to boot the system i get told cannot find operating system,
the system rescue cd i have here has an option to boot from first hard disk, which i try and it says cannot find disk parameters, the fujitsu siemans bios does not see the hdd either,
any ideas ?fdisk -l from the system rescue cd does list the hard disk and its flagged as bootable.
