I can understand that completely (especially considering how much fuel my car guzzles). Maybe if we arranged things in advance we could possibly try and come up with a meeting that everyone can get to easily (and maybe car share to save fuel), maybe we could look at doing something in the summer, such as a BBQ?
Perhaps one day I can drop the wife and kids off at her parents, and myself and the father in-law come to one, I would like too, I've just spent the day setting him up two machines actually. One just Linux Mint for the mother in-law, and the other dual booting Windows and Mint; two more 'converts' ;)
