They are pretty hot on H&S, from what I gather there haven't been any major injuries on the Exeter site but other sites across the world have suffered fatalities (two or 3 this year that I know of). They have procedures for everything and these procedures have to be followed to the letter.

There are several real problems with "crying wolf" over imagined risks.
One is that real risks can be overlooked (even created) by such actions.
Another is that people need a certain level of percieved risk in order
to function. Which varies according of the individual.
