I'd certainly not describe it as straightforward because there are so many variables any one of which can result in a non-working system if it isn't set correctly. OTOH, I've been running it since v0.7 (v0.23rc2 is just out) and in the last ten years or thereabouts we've only watched television "normally" for a few months when we were renting whilst "between houses" and until we got the new aerial installed here.
