As in all machinery (specifically rotating equipment) always ensure
usage is staggered, i.e not sequential batch, not sequential
manufacturers and do not install both discs as new at at same time,
always change one after say 6 months so mean time between failures for
the two or more discs is not likely [ never guaranteed] to have been
generated by same manufacturing process at the same time.

P.S. I use alot of rotating equipment (pumps, compressors) on explosive
mixtures so failure in service is the top criteria and we never buy a
complete set for any one critical service from any one manufacturer or
manufacturing site ( i.e not 'same' as in re-badged or manufactured by
sub-contract at same OEM supplier). Same principle applies to hard
discs , it is the mechanics that usually fail.
