I would imagine a USB microscope would present itself as some form of video device. Anyone run one on linux, and if so is there any 'special' software to get the most out of it?
My curiosity got the better of me and I started to google. And found some ofthese for well under 50 quid. Amazing. Be wary of their magnification claims - some are 10x native and 100x "digital"....
However there does seem to be support, mostly natively via the uvc usb video driver.
